Janning's Creative Countertops ("we", "us") makes and installs granite, quartz and quartzite countertops from our shop at 17509 Highway 71, Carroll, Iowa. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and our website phone line, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Estimate requests. When you use a form on this site, we receive what you enter: your name, phone number and/or email address, town or ZIP code, project details, cabinet status, timeline, any message, any photos or drawings you upload, and the countertop build you designed, if you send it.
• Phone calls and voicemail. When you call our website number, our phone service records your phone number and the time and length of the call. If you leave a voicemail, we receive the recording and an automatic transcript of it.
• Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider processes basic request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies or tracking pixels.

How we use it

We use your information to answer your request, prepare your estimate, schedule templating and installation, and keep a record of our conversation about your project. When you send an estimate request with an email address, we send you a one-time confirmation that we received it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that run this site and our communications, and only as needed for them to do that work: website hosting (Cloudflare), email delivery (Resend), phone calls and voicemail (Twilio), and web fonts (Google Fonts). We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Text messages

We do not share mobile phone numbers with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party. If we text you, you can reply STOP at any time to stop messages or HELP for help, and message and data rates may apply.

How long we keep it

We keep estimate requests, call records and voicemails for as long as we need them to work with you and to keep ordinary business records, and then delete them.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call us or write to us at the address below and we will take care of it.

Children

This site is meant for adults planning countertop projects. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date above.
